Reception Edit

In 2012, Joe Vallese of PopMatters selected "Siren" as one of Amos' ten best non-album tracks; Vallese called the track "one of those Amos songs that has gained in power and potency from its compelling yet somewhat sketchy recorded version, becoming, in live performance, a fiery, dynamic piece that thrills and overwhelms."[1] Polari Magazine's Andrew Darley similarly praised "Siren", writing that the song "is full of urgency which complimented the original film and remains distinguished in her own repertoire."[2]
