"Ring My Bell" is a cover by Tori Amos released on the compilation Ruby Trax: The NME's Roaring Forty in 1992.

Background Edit

"Ring My Bell" was originally written and performed by Anita Ward. Amos's cover was released on Ruby Trax, a three-disc compilation commemorating NME magazine's fortieth anniversary in 1992.

Doug Stone of Allmusic called Amos' rendition "a laboriously unnecessary remake".[1] The song is included on some bootleg copies of Y Kant Tori Read.

Live performances Edit

"Ring My Bell" has only been performed live twice, during the 1994 Under the Pink Tour and 2005 Original Sinsuality Tour. http://www.toriset.org/s.php?c=945&t=0
