Other media Edit

Comic Book Tattoo Edit

A nine-page story inspired by "Father Lucifer" was included in the 2008 graphic novel anthology Comic Book Tattoo, a collection of short comics based on Amos' songs. "Father Lucifer" was written, pencilled, inked, coloured and lettered by Omaha Perez.[2] Perez provided the organizers of the anthology with two distinct pitches for the story, one "pure fiction" and one "autobiographical, and very personal". He discovered that they preferred the more autobiographical pitch, noting, "It was a real great opportunity to do a real personal piece that I don’t know if I would have done otherwise."[3]

Live performances Edit

"Father Lucifer" was first performed live during the 1996 Dew Drop Inn Tour and has been played on many of Amos' tours since.

TV performances Edit

Amos performed "Father Lucifer" on The Late Show with David Letterman on October 4, 1996. She was accompanied by Steve Caton on guitar. The performance marked her fifth appearance on The Late Show.
