"Angie" is a B-side from Tori Amos's 1992 debut solo album Little Earthquakes.

Background Edit

"Angie" is a cover of the song of the same name by the Rolling Stones, originally from their 1973 album Goats Head Soup. Tori has referred to the original as "one of her favorite songs of all time" in-concert.[1]

Tori's rendition was released as a B-side on "Winter" in Australia and the United Kingdom and on the US "Crucify" EP.

Live performances Edit

"Angie" was first performed live during the 1992 Little Earthquakes Tour. While the song was played on a regular basis during Tori's tours in 1994 and 1996, it has only been occasionally performed since.[2]
